![]() ![]() Column I (Index) is a formula that determines the position in the Car List of each available car. Col H (Sequence) is just sequential numbers. The Dynamic List Contents section creates the actual list of cars for the drop-down box. Those numbers will be matched to the Sequence in the next section. In cell F5: =IF(E5 = $B$4, "", MAX($F$4:F4) + 1) says if the car is not available, leave it blank, otherwise assign it 1 more than the largest number already assigned. ![]() Column F contains a formula, assigning a number to those cars that are available on the selected day. Per your scenario, cars A and B are off on Mondays, while C and D are off on Fridays (a new car E is off on Wednesdays). In this example, the Car List table has cars (Col D) and days off (Col E). You might be able to adapt it to your needs. I've done this with drop-down lists without using VBA. ![]()
